Caucalis latifolia This is rather less frequent than the last [C. daucoides], but thrives in the same kind of soils and situations. It is one of the most beautiful of umbelliferous plants, and makes a conspicuous appearance in the dry fields of Cambridgeshire in July. Smith,Eng.Bot. (1794) 3:198.
